I have been slacking on posting play lists on the web. Here are some highlights
from last MOndays show. Also, if you have pledged yet, please consider donating to WEFT and keep the community radio spirit alive.

1. Bjork + Orkestra = Bjork Orkestra.

2. Matt Savage Trio: This kid is great, only 15.

3. Toumast, oh no, another Tuareg band. This is some good stuff, they are influenced by Tinariwen, but have some elements from Niger that are not found in Malian music.

Toumast was founded in the 90's around Moussa Ag Keyna. In 1993, after years of combat and resistance, Moussa is severely wounded and evacuated to France, later joined by Aminatou Goumar. His encounter with composer, arranger and producer Dan Levy in Paris will be the starting point to the recording of the album.

4. Wynton Marsalis: Standards and Ballads.

My radio show, called 'Early Dementia', is on every Monday, 6-9am on WEFT, 90.1 FM, on the web http://www.weft.org. Tune in, call in with a request.
